Beneke Build & Design has been years in the making. From shared interests as high school sweethearts to more than 10 years of combined industry experience, we knew we wanted to make it our own.

We are passionate about thoughtful design, quality construction, and creating homes that feel unique to you and your lifestyle. Homes are personal, and so are we. We believe the best projects happen when there is a genuine connection from the first conversation to the final details.

How We Got Here

From Shared Roots to Arizona Homeowners

Their individual but complementary paths grew through each move, shared project, and home they made together.

Jacob and Audrey together on their wedding day — **Growing Together**Audrey moved more than 15 times before meeting Jacob in Minnesota, where they fell in love. They later relocated to Columbus for family and opportunity, began complementary careers, sometimes worked on the same projects, and married there before starting their next chapter in Arizona.

Renovating their 1963 mid-century condo in Old Town Scottsdale brought their interests together and helped their individual experience evolve into Beneke Build & Design.

Practical Experience at Every Step

Jacob’s interest in construction started young and became a clear career path when, at 16, he built a home from the ground up through a technical program in high school. Since then, he has gained years of hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, restoration, and the skilled trades. He approaches each project with an understanding of how a home is actually built and an appreciation for the craftsmanship that gives a home character. He values strong relationships with homeowners and considers how design, materials, budget, and lifestyle come together throughout construction. His approach is grounded in building homes thoughtfully, with quality meant to endure for years to come.

Design Grounded in Real Life

Moving more than 15 times throughout her childhood gave Audrey an early understanding of what makes a house feel like home. Each move sparked a deeper interest in space planning and design, along with an appreciation for the life lived between the walls. That interest grew into an early career in real estate with a niche in interior design, including designing short-term rentals in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Since moving roots to Arizona, Audrey has transitioned fully into interior design. She takes time to understand how you live, what you are drawn to, and what makes your home distinctly unique. Her designs pair that with an understanding of home construction and an instinct for creating beautiful homes that feel as memorable as the lives lived within them.
